Could the Lions Pass on #1?

There has been a lot of chatter around the media and fans that the Lions could possibly pass on #1 in the upcoming 2009 entry draft.  I personally think that is ridiculous.  The issues that would be created are enough to create a permanent rift with the player drafted.

It Is Time To Test The Waters

The Detroit Lions’ season is over.  If this statement is disputed then it is out of delusion.  The Lions have the luxury of having 6 games remaining in their 2008 schedule.  Why is this a luxury?  Simply put, they can test the waters using their young players.
