- 2008 NFL Mock Draft Choices for the Detroit Lions
I found these links to 2008 NFL Mock Drafts. Each is a complete NFL Mock Draft, but I have only shown the Lions 1st round selection. If you want to see the complete Mock Draft by the entity just click on the Link. I found it interesting that LB, RB, OT, DE and CB are all shown as Lions 1st Round selection in the assorted Mock Drafts. Guess the Lions need a lot of help. I hope Millen is up to the task.
Please make your choice for the Lions biggest need in the Draft.

I live in Tennessee. I’ve been a loins fan since 6th grade. Everyone knows that Tennessee is home of the Titians. The success of the Titians have made it very difficult to cheer for the Lions with out being made fun of for it here, but i have stuck with them. For every bad game, for every highlight reel that shows some guy scoring a TD, and just so happens to be against my Lions. The Lions messed with me this season though. What were they, 6-2. I really thought this was going to be the year the Lions made the playoffs. I was bragging on them, I was able to say how the Lions are better than the Titians this year, people were starting to back off the lions and then they lost, and lost, and lost again. SO all I ask is, PLEASE DON’T SUCK THIS YEAR. and Kitna still rocks
Matt, thanks for your comment. All signs currently point to another bad year. But, with the NFL you never know.

man mel kiper has us gettin the cb from troy, leodis mckelvin, that dude is a shut down corner but he cant catch ANYTHING they showed a clip of him his senior year. He was breaking on these routes like crazy looking studly and quick but only had like three ints… they asked him about it and he said he just gets too excited when he has a chance to catch the ball haha… also the dude can barely talk… he sounds like he isnt educated… its wierd… i want cromartie because of his size… or talib because he is decently tall and awesome return skills and catches everything..
they should get daren Mcfadden
alright guys… lets get this conversation back to reality… we have the 15th pick… the latest news has al wilson ( a pro bowl linebacker) visiting and possibly intrigued with the idea of being a lion… also the lions are shopping mcdonald for a draft pick….
the combine will tell us a lot about who we will have a chance to get…. i have heard a lot about clady out of boise state… also the forty times will let us know who is the best corner in the draft… aqib….. jenkins…. cromartie… in my opinion i wouldnt mind aqib talib or cromartie…. clady is supposed to be the second best tackle im cool with that too…
so this is me asking you fellow lions fans… pre combine… realistically… who do you see the lions drafting first and second round….
also i heard sam gash is a huge fan of ray rice… but that would be later in the draft… wishful thinking…
The Lions need a solid DE/DT. If that isn’t what the brilliant Millen is going to do, I believe you gotta grab Talib, best corner all-around in the draft. I was a huge fan of Flowers out of V-Tech until I saw is 40 times, 4.62, thats tight end speed. I know talib isn’t all that fast but then again no good
