Detroit Lions vs San Diego Chargers NFL Week 15 - Predictions

Your ‘Lion Eyes’ blogger has put the Local Detroit Media selections for the game on Sunday against the San Diego Chargers in this post. I have also included the ESPN expert’s picks and MSNBC’s Jay Novacek’s choice. At the end of the post I offer my choice for the game for what it is worth.

Jay picks the Chargers to beat the Lions. Jay has the same thought as I do, the Lions will struggle to rebound after the crushing loss last week:

It will be tough for the Lions to go to San Diego and win. Detroit was so deflated after the missed field goal and late score against Dallas. They were unbelievably down. They won’t rebound from that.

I think the only way the Lions can win this game is if they can get a similar effort as they showed last week against the Cowboys and San Diego can not overcome their many injuries. Don’t think it will happen so make it San Diego 31 Detroit 23 and the Lions get eliminated from NFC playoff race. Detroit comes home next week to Ford Field to play the Kansas City Chiefs.
