  • Detroit Lions vs New York Giants Time Changed

The NFL has announced that the game between the Detroit Lions and New York Giants scheduled for Sunday November 18, 2007 has undergone a time change. Originally the game was scheduled to kick off at 4:15. The NFL has moved the game to 1:00 as part of the NFL’s adjustments to accommodate television networks. The game is televised by Fox network as is the Dallas vs Washington game the same day that was moved from a 1:00 kickoff to the 4:15 time slot.

  • Important Road Game in Chicago

Probably by now you are getting tired of hearing from your ‘Lion Eyes’ blogger how important each game is for the Lions. But, the gridiron warriors, if they have any hope to stay in the NFC North race with the Green Bay Packers must be able to win games on the NFL road. Detroit has been blown out the last two times they traveled to Soldier Field and have been routed the last two road games this season. Time to turn around the fortunes out on the road. They will be facing a very hot QB in the Bears Brian Griese who will look to see if he can top the recent QB performances turned in against the Lions defense. Donovan McNabb, Jason Campbell and Jeff Garcia’s recent performances when lined up against the Detroiters were Pro Bowl caliber exhibitions of quality NFL QB play. If Griese plays better than that trio then the Lions will probably be in for another road kill in Chicago. Head over to Chicago Bears and see what my colleague Winnie has to think about the game on Sunday.
