The ESPN crew, for the 4th straight week, had just 2 picking the Lions to win, Chris Mortensen and Seth Wickersham. The other 6 experts picked the Buccaneers.

Jay picks the Buccaneers with the expectation that Jon Kitna will be pressured by the Bucs defense.

The Buccaneers don’t dazzle, but they get the job done. They will move the ball better against the Lions than they did last week.
Tampa’s defense will shut down Detroit’s offense, too. The Lions can put a lot of points up, but Jon Kitna will face a lot of heat.

Your ‘Lion Eyes’blogger believes the Lions will win in a close game and barely cover the 2 point spread. The home field crowd will give the Lions a boost and coming after the rest from the bye week allowed the Lions to heal some of their injuries will help get the Lions the win. I expect there will some turnovers as the Lions are near the top of the league in creating turnovers and comitting turnovers. Make it 24-21 Detroit . If I am right the Lions will be 4-2 with an opportunity to go to Chicago next week with some momentum.
