  • Detroit Lions vs Tampa Bay Buccanneers NFL Week 7

The Detroit Lions are back from their Bye Week and the 5 days off and will be at the practice facility on Monday. Detroit will start preparing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to visit Ford Field on Sunday October 21st, 2007 @ 1:00 pm.

Coach Rod Marinelli and his staff and players probably were focused on these games yesterday:

Green Bay 17 - Washington 14. Just one week after the Lions were routed by the Redskins, Green Bay, who leads the NFC North Division, beats Washington. Your ‘Lion Eyes’ blogger wonders if that means the Lions will have a lot of trouble with the Packers later in the season.

Minnesota 34 - Chicago 31. Just seems like the Bears are still stuck in the Super Bowl loser hangover. Chicago falls to 2-4 and are 3 full games behind the front running Packers. Minnesota gets a big road win in the Division and a big coming out party for RB Adrian Peterson who had 20 carries for 224 yards and 3 TDs. Peterson added 128 yards in kick returns.

Tampa Bay 13 - Tennessee 10. Ex-Lion QB Jeff Garcia completes 20 of 31 for 274 yards with 1 TD and no interceptions to lead the Buccaneers to the win. I am sure Coach Marinelli doesn’t worry about the ex-Lion QB coming back to Ford Field but most Lion fans do. All fans still remember Joey Harrington coming back to Detroit last Thanksgiving and easily beating the Lions. Lets hope we don’t get a repeat this Sunday.

Here is a chance for you to Vote in one of my Polls. Who do you think will win on Sunday?
