Your ‘Lion Eyes’ blogger has gathered up the NFL Week 4 Predictions for the Matchup between the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears scheduled for Sunday September 30, 2007 @ 1:00 in Detroit at Ford Field. This is one of those NFL inter-division games that most prognosticators believe will come right down to the end. As a result each team was selected by about the same number in the local media for the teams. Nationally the clear choice is the Bears.

The ESPN crew ended up with 6 picking the Bears with just 2 going with the Lions, Chris Mortensen and Seth Wickersham

Jay picks the Bears believing that Kitna will make too many mistakes to allow the Lions to prevail.

Detroit is doing some good things, especially on offense. After watching Tony Romo throw all over the Bears secondary, the Lions will try to do the same thing. However, Jon Kitna won’t be as mobile, and he’ll get under pressure and make mistakes.

If you read yesterday’s post you know that Your ‘Lion Eyes’ blogger believes the Lions will win in a squeaker. Make it 24-21 Lions. Here is hoping the Lions are 3-1 heading to D.C. to take on the Redskins next week.
