Your ‘Lion Eyes’ blogger has gathered up the NFL Week 3 Predictions for the Matchup between the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles scheduled for Sunday September 23, 2007 @ 1:00 in Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field. It is surprising that any of the ‘expert’ prognosticators are picking the Lions to not only cover the 6.5 spread but to win the game outright.

The ESPN crew ended up with 6 picking the Eagles with just 2 going with the Lions, Joe Theismann and Sean Salisbury.

Jay picks the Eagles and thinks they will get well against the Lions.

Philadelphia will correct a lot of its problems, though. Donovan McNabb’s accuracy will improve and the Eagles won’t worry about their opponent as much as just taking care of themselves.

And the Lions could have trouble with this early success. They have guys on there who like talk and that doesn’t help your team. Instead of worrying about scoring 40 points a game, they just need to focus.
